Reviews for Panchamukhi Restaurant Hampi
Review highlights
Based on 203 reviewsPanchamukhi Restaurant Hampi is widely appreciated for its flavorful and fresh Indian cuisine, with several patrons highlighting the consistent quality across multiple visits. The menu, though limited, offers well-prepared dishes, including notable vegetarian options that cater to different spice preferences. Service quality is frequently praised, characterized by attentive and accommodating staff. While the ambiance is considered modest and occasionally challenging during power outages or on hot days, customers feel the reasonable pricing and excellent food more than compensate for this. Overall, the restaurant stands out as a reliable choice for authentic and satisfying meals near Hampi, particularly valued for its home-style taste and generous portions.
Highly recommend! The food is delicious and service is very good. We came twice - lunch & dinner on separate days.Food came out within 30 mins of ordering. The portions are good. We got the veg kolhapuri (very spicy) for lunch and dal takada (medium spicy) for dinner. We also go rice and tried different rotis. Make sure to ask for less spicy if you are sensitive. The menu is small. The only “western” item was French fries. But the Indian food was very flavorful. The service is also what brought us back! I asked for hot rice, I got it. The server kept my sunglasses when I forgot them! We were also able to fill our water bottles. Really appreciate the smooth communication and fast service!!The monkeys on the roof can be a little loud during the evening. It was fine.Note:Take off your shoes at the entranceThere are provided flip flops for the restroom.
Amazing service, food was tasty like home, we did eat for 2 days and can say it was consistent in taste and staff was very nice. 5/5 must try
Absolutely loved the meal here. Especially the dal tadka / fry. Seating (if there is power-cut on a hot day) is a bit challenging but the food makes it up for it. Prices are damn reasonable and the staff - too good. …
The food was super amazing and fresh, the staff was super accommodating and complied to our requests. The food was super amazing and fresh. The paratha was PHENOMENAL. only thing is ambience is not top tier. But food was more than worth it.
I really enjoyed the food here. Gansham, the owner, and his team were super! The quality I got for the price really made this place stand out. You have to go!
Cozy rooftop atmosphere with Indian seatingLocated in Hampi village near Virupaksha Temple. Enough seating space.Staff was very well behaved. Dal khichdi was good. Rates are reasonable
We had an early dinner at 6.45pm. Found this place and wow, the staff made fresh fresh phulkas with aloo matar. We were hungry as well and got hot, delicious food within 5-10 mins. We were in a bit of hurry due to travel, otherwise I'd have ordered many more items. Please visit!
I ordered veg palav, the taste was good, infact there was no people in eveng like 7, I had bus at 8 so I rushed to eat and left. But the taste was so amazing I love the. Ambience. There is table sitting and we as dewan sitting arrangement the mild light with some painting gives the vibe of hampi heritage. It's quite inside the hampi bazar place next to virupaksha temple
